I've been playing some games and I realized that I have some "texture flickering" For example: If I'm playing Wildlands, the texture on the buildings and the sunlight would flicker in and out.
When I play Star Craft 2, the HUD textures would just constantly flicker in game like someone is playing with a light switch and constantly turning it on and off. Its been happening in Rainbow Six Siege as well where teh hud and the lighting would flicker. It's very annoying.
I somewhat fixed a majority of it by doing some troubleshooting. Reinstalled New up to date drivers. Tried different Display Port Cable. Any help would be amazing. FTW Member. I tried the patch but it didn't fix it. Maybe it is because I am carrying a torch and then the engine gets to its light source limits. Without a torch there is no issue because it's dark anyways haha.

Posted 10 August - AM. I've seen that a few times, but mostly on snow textures - I don't know that it's something in you config or even an error per se. Windows has a tool to assist with it, and there's a number of on-line tools as well. I'd look there first, just to make sure all is well. Posted 13 August - AM. Thanks for your advice but I was not able to fix the problem, its not the monitor and it only happens in Skyrim SE, not in Oldrim with Mods and not in Fallout I tried cranking up antialiasing, that did nothing then I switched to Natural view Tamriel ENB, that lessens the problem but it does not fix it.
It's not an AA thing. Usually, color banding is a result of lack of color-depth I can't imagine you aren't in the correct color-depth, as there would be no reason NOT to be. Honestly, I'm not sure there's anything to be done for it - as I mentioned, I get those same bands on snow, though I haven't seen them anywhere else. Then again, I don't look for these kind of problems - maybe I'm just not picky enough.

A few small tips: If you own Skyrim for the PC: If you have a controller plugged in and are not using it, Skyrim seems to lag. To get a decent FPS boost, try unplugging your controller and playing with the keyboard and mouse.
If you own Skyrim for the PS3: If your game starts to lag and it probably will after a few hourssaving the game and turning your console off and on again should put everything back nice and smooth. Now on to the general Skyrim fixes:. Disabling Vsync in Skyrim : Vsync can help with screen tearing, but for many people, Vsync can cause issues. Lower frame rates are common for low end machines when Vsync is on.
To disable Vsync follow these steps:. First make the item a Favorite. Open the Favorite menu ingame Qhighlight the item you wish to hotkey and press the hotkey you want to use. It's a fresh install, without any kind of mods. Or it's supposed to be clean anyway. The Eyes of Beauty mod is active in the game even though I deleted both it and everything relating to Skyrim completely several times. You're starting a new game right?
Some mod info gets embedded into the save files. Originally posted by Dr. I gots to ask, but are you allowing STEAM to download a fresh copy, or are you re-installing from a custom backup?
I would think it's a couple of reasons: 1. You are using a backed up skyrim settings. You are using mods, on a clean install, and its the mods causing the issue.
You have workshop mods that are installing because they are not unsubscribed. Its your graphics driver. I don't know If it's merely a light flickering problem, try lowering Anti-Aliasing.
